Dear Friends,

Winter has been quite the wild ride since we rolled over into 2018. Northeasters have swooped in, dumping inches of snow. Snow is important for nature’s cycles, acting as natural insulation to warm the soil, which in turn affects bud break and animal or insect reproduction. I try to keep that in mind while shoveling.
