In the past twenty years, grapes have become a valuable crop in Vermont, thanks to the availability of cold-hardy cultivars. Once you find a variety that can handle the cold, grapes can be really easy to grow at home. In this workshop, learn the basics of grape production including site selection, training, pruning, and disease management. Bring your pruners, as we will spend some hands-on time with the vines getting them ready for the beginning of the growing season.
