Identifying and Managing Pests In Your Garden

Have you seen this bug?  He could be in your garden!  Join Ann Hazelrigg, director of the UVM Plant Diagnostic Clinic as she talks about the pests and diseases that attacked our vegetable and landscape plants in 2021 and their management based on integrated pest management (IPM) principles.  She will also address some new pests and diseases that are not here yet, but may make an appearance soon!  EMG-E

Professor Ann Hazelrigg is a plant pathologist and is the director of the UVM Plant Diagnostic Clinic for identification of weed, insect and disease issues in commercial crops and home gardens. She also oversees the UVM Extension Master Gardener program, the Pesticide Safety and Education program and is involved in several integrated pest management (IPM) grants. She has worked for extension for almost 40 years and still learns new things every day!
