Presenter bios: Charlie Lawrence (MSc., PG, CHG) has over 30 years of experience working across private sector consulting, major oil companies, and state regulatory agencies. He is currently an Environmental Analyst for the State of Vermont, providing oversight of sites contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons, solvents, and emerging contaminants such as PFAS. Charlie also supports Superfund sites in coordination with the U.S. EPA, bringing a wealth of real-world experience to understanding water protection and remediation.
Jen Lawrence (MSc., PG) has over 30 years of experience as a regulator, consultant, and Senior Technical Lead for ExxonMobil, and currently works with a forensic chemistry consultancy, supporting global research and development efforts for the assessment and treatment of chlorides and petroleum hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater; and recently led a PFAS groundwater investigation across the state of Vermont.
